The OGEA office is normally open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. during the school year. During the summer, it is open on Wednesdays.

Stand up for Schools - March 13, 2009

The Representative Council is the governing body of OGEA, made up of elected representatives from every school site and the District Office.

It meets the second Wednesdays of each month   (with some variation due to conference or holiday schedules).

The next regular meeting is September 9, 2009 at OGEA office at 4:15 p.m.

Voluntary Member Contribution

CTA members in their first 120 days of employment are eligible to apply for disability insurance without answering medical history questions.

As of Sept. 1, 2007, all disability insurance services are provided by The Standard.

CTA Disaster Relief Fund

The Disaster Relief Fund is a separate special fund for the members of the California Teachers Association (CTA). The fund is endowed to provide financial assistance to CTA members who have experienced significant losses due to disasters in California.
