A tentative agreement was reached between the District and the Association on October 29, 2013. Voting is now underway at school sites. Ballots are due Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the OGEA office by 4:00 PM.

The OGEA office is normally open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. during the school year. During the summer, it is open on Wednesdays.

CTA's Mission 
The California Teachers Association exists to protect and promote the well-being of its members; to improve the conditions of teaching and learning; to advance the cause of free, universal, and quality public education; to ensure that the human dignity and civil rights of all children and youth are protected; and to secure a more just, equitable, and democratic society.

The Representative Council is the governing body of OGEA, made up of elected representatives from every school site and the District Office.

The next regular meeting is September 12, 2012 at the OGEA office at 4:15 p.m.

It meets the second Wednesdays of each month   (with some variation due to conference or holiday schedules).

CTA Disaster Relief Fund

The Disaster Relief Fund is a separate special fund for the members of the California Teachers Association (CTA). The fund is endowed to provide financial assistance to CTA members who have experienced significant losses due to disasters in California.
